THINK RIGHT

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he, “eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you."
Proverbs 23:7
Main Text: Main Text: Romans 12:1-2

There’s a popular adage “you are what you eat.” In a nutritional sense, this statement may be accurate. In the King James Version, Proverbs 23:7 seems to suggest a different but related truth—that we are what we think: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” What you feed your mind with is what you become therefore its important we stop feeding our mind junk but the word of life found in God’s Word.

Disciplining the mind is a critical process, but that does not equate to a difficult process. Romans 12:2 teaches us that the renewing of our mind helps us discover what the will of God is for our lives. God has done His part to make it easier for us. 2 Corinthians 5:17 suggest we are new creatures; therefore, we have an advantage with our mind, in essence this means we have the mind of Christ.

We have to develop our mind by the word of God, it is crucial and important that we stay on the Word because this allows us develop ourselves into right thinking.

Confession:

I have the mind of Christ, I am blessed, my mind is fruitful in Jesus name. Amen.
