DO YOU REALLY CONSIDER ETERNITY? 2

Let me continue where I stopped yesterday. First and foremost, I would want you to give another thought to what I said about your journey to eternity. No matter how comfortable you think you are on earth today, it will one day end and the reality of eternity will then dawn on you.

We are just passing through and that’s why you need to live a meaningful life not just for yourself but towards God and humanity. If you remember that this world will soon be over you won’t like to get yourself entangled with the troubles and affairs of life. You need to be spiritually conscious of the times and seasons. This is the end of the age. Are you happy that Jesus will soon be here? How ready are you? It’s possible that your running up and down is still about marriage, the bills, and career. I’m not against all that but I want you to do all the running around with heaven in view. If you are not looking at the end result of all these happenings in your life, it will be very easy for you to lose focus of God and miss eternity with Christ. Don’t get yourself choked up with the activities of this world but be devoted to God in order to get His will concerning your desired goal in life. Anytime you run away from God, you are running closer to the devil and that’s moving closer to hell. Don’t even consider hell at all. Be on the Lord side and let Him be your partner for life. Then like David you will be able to say: I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8. I pray for you this morning, nothing in this world will move you away from the side of God in Jesus mighty name.

Prayer: Father, don’t let me be carried away with the affairs of this sinful world.
