PROSPERITY IS YOUR RIGHT
Thou opens thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
Psalms 145:16
Main Text:
The ability to remain where God wants you to be for the period He wants you there will go a long way to affect your destiny. That is faith. A divine life will always show faith and a walk of righteousness. And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. Genesis 39:2
Joseph had faith and stood by his dream which shaped his destiny. In spite of the fact that he had been sold into slavery, he knew that dream will still come to pass as long as he remained in God’s will and stood in righteousness. We read of his steadfastness at the face of troubles, but Joseph knew he was in Potiphar’s house for a divine purpose. He accepted it and remained there whether the going was good or bad. He waited patiently on God even when it seemed he had been forgotten. This is an area many of us have difficulty with today. But that should not be if we live a divine life. Some people change their place of work with reckless abandon, not caring whether God wants them to go or not. As long as another offer that comes their way has a beautiful package with it, straight they go. Stay where you are, except God says otherwise!
From our Bible reading we also learn that prosperity is needed both by the poor and the rich. If you think it is only the poor that need to be prospered, you are joking. The truth is that while the poor needs prosperity to come out of poverty, the rich needs it to prevent them from going back to poverty and to stay competitive. Again, when you live a divine life, your prosperity is not negotiable! Do you know what, God becomes your sufficiency and you naturally live a life of abundance in Christ.
Prayer: I rebuke poverty in my life I live in abundance in the name of Jesus
