HIS WORDS STILL BRING HOPE AND JOY
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.
Jeremiah 15:16
Main Text:
God and His Word are inseparable. You cannot confuse them. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1). There’s nothing ordinary about His word and for this very reason, you must neither joke nor trivialise any of His instructions. He has instructed you on the path to divine life through salvation. Once you are saved, you receive the grace to be a doer and not just a hearer of His word. “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;” (Hebrews 2:3).
His word should be your daily guide unto all truth and your escape from the horrors and errors of this perilous age. If faithfully considered and strictly adhered to, you will live a divine life in Christ Jesus, miss none of His blessings here on earth and you will have a hope of eternity with Him.
God’s word is your manual unto the next levels in life. You are not expected to take any step except He’s the one directing you. If God will speak to you, it will be impossible for you to regret. The words of men will mislead you and end in sadness. The noise in the world will distract your hearing but the Word of God is able to build you up. God is ready to lead you into eternal joy but you must be ready to listen and obey Him 24/7. It’s also important you sustain the presence of God at all. You need clean hands and a pure heart to fellowship intimately with God. You need to take conscious effort on a daily basis to stay off impediment against your relationship with God.
Prayer: Father, I declare you reign and rule my world and I build up my spirit man with your words.
