THE WEAPON-PRAYER

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:10-11(NKJV)
Main Text:

According to Ephesians 6:10-18 every believer is involved in a spiritual warfare. The problems we are faced with are brought about by satanic forces – principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and wicked spirits in heavenly places. However, we have a responsibility to use our weapons of warfare to fight the good fight of faith. What weapons are we referring to? The name of Jesus, the Word of God, The Holy Spirit, and the gifts of the Spirit.

The armor described in Ephesians 6 is the prayer armor and it serves on vital purpose; to combat Satan and win. People are not your enemy. Satan is the source of all your troubles. He’s the troublemaker! Not God, not your neighbor, not your co-workers, not your relatives but Satan. Some people believe God send tribulations and trials or even mishaps but that’s erroneous. He has provided the weapons and armor to get us out of trouble.  Job 34:10.

Thank God we have authority over Satan and his cohorts. We’re to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! Spend time reinforcing your troops in prayer.

Confession:  I decree and declare God’s incredible blessings over my life. I will see God’s goodness, a sudden widespread of increase in my finances and all that pertains to me.
