LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD
“I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hillâ€
Psalm 3:4
Main Text:
Quietness and gentleness as virtues are not synonymous with silence when it comes to prayer and seeking God’s face in your difficult moments in life. The scripture is established with records of God hearing the cry of His people each time they called upon Him. As you call upon God wholeheartedly, you will be answered in the name of Jesus. God has always answered the cry of His people; He’s still doing same today and will forever listen whenever we call with genuine heart.
The Bible says: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8).
You don’t gain anything when you keep mute and refuse to let out the issues of your life especially to your creator and the maker of your soul. Spiritual laziness and sin are the reasons why many will not call on God. If the devil has ever cheated anyone at all, it’s in this area of crying out to God. Until the children of Israel cried out to God, they were not delivered from their taskmasters in Egypt.
“And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;” (Exodus 3:7).
Why aren’t you making your request known with your Maker? You need to remove every barrier between you and your God. Don’t allow the enemy of your soul and destiny to keep you perpetually silent from crying out to God. If you are lazy spiritually, you have only signed up with suffering without knowing it. Let your voice be heard. Make your requests known to God, wash yourself in the precious blood of the lamb and be free from every besetting sin.
Prayer: O Lord, take away every form of laziness in my life and make me committed to you on a daily basis.
