WE ARE CO-LABOURERS WITH GOD

 “Then saith Jesus unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;” Matthew 9:37. God is aware of the perverseness of the nations of the world through the corrupt activities of the devil. God is therefore busy working out the salvation of men since He’s not interested in the death of a sinner but that all may come to the knowledge of the truth. The Bible says: “…who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4. Therefore, it’s obvious that the salvation of the world is the heartbeat of the Lord and He’s raising men to work with Him to achieve this purpose.

You are not expected to be an ordinary member of a church not to talk of being a bench warmer. In the eye of God, you are also a labourer in the Kingdom expected to bring people out of the dark to the knowledge of the Son of God. You have a definite assignment in your place of worship and a beautiful role if you can see well through the eye of the Spirit. It’s important therefore for you to check your life and confirm your status in God. Are you labouring to get people out of the dungeon of sin to see the light of God or you have concluded that it’s the work of the Pastors and Ministers? Spiritual laziness will not only make you stagnant and irrelevant, it can erode grace completely and also make one a dummy Christian.

I pray that you won’t lose your place in eternity due to carelessness and unwillingness to act as commanded. Beloved, the time is now, pick up an assignment before God and be responsible for the salvation, deliverance and prosperity of the nations of the earth. The Lord is counting on you.
