THINK RIGHT

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”
Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)
Main Text:

The heart represents one’s thoughts, emotions which actually formulates the mind. Thus, our ability to discipline our thoughts and feelings, which in turn create self-image is critical for a successful life. Proverbs 4:23 advises us to “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” (AMP).

God’s Word provides us with the necessary direction we need to have a renewed mind and it also provides us with the key tools we need for daily growth and development of the mind. Philippians 4 teaches us the kind of things to ponder on which will allow the peace of God to remain in us. The only way to overcome fear, anxiety, depression is to remain on God’s Word.

Romans 12 explains to us that having a renewed mind helps us discover God’s plan for our lives. This is destiny made easy and the key point is the Word of God. We are new creatures in Christ therefore, we have all it takes to think right.

Confession

I hold fast to the Word of truth, for therein lies my prosperity. I have a renewed mind, I walk in plenty, I will thrive and fulfill purpose, I guard my heart above all else.
