DECLARE NEW THINGS
“See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to youâ€
Isaiah 42:9, NIV
Main Text:
The best thing any man can be in life depends on what he thinks and as well confesses. Often times people confess what is contrary to their destiny as result of past experience. The Bible says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. What are the things going on in your mind right now? There are people who wonder why the circumstances and experiences of their lives don’t seem to align with the wonderful provisions of God, despite being born again. The reason for me is simple, they are yet to understand the mystery of the ‘Tree of life-Tongue’.
Your mouth wasn’t given to you merely for eating and drinking; its greater use is in shaping your own destiny. You’re where you are today maybe because of what you’ve been saying. You can be what you want to be and achieve within God’s perfect will in 2018. The key is in making proper use of your tongue! The Bible says in Proverbs 15:4
“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.”
Scripture tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means we set our future according to what we choose to say. If you need to see change in your circumstances, then start by changing your words. Don’t use your words to describe your situation; use your words to change your situation. Imagine come 2019, there will be a new government in Nigeria through general elections, whatever you declare concerning Nigeria’s future will surely come to pass. Therefore speak life and Nigeria will prosper. So funny that people could even abuse the scripture to satisfy their personal greed. I laughed when a particular Psalm was misused to pray for the President, such deflation is not of God and never be a party to such.Start declaring new things in order to start seeing new things! Declare peace, declare His Prevailing Word!
Prayer: I declare peace into my life today O Lord
