INTERCEDING FOR ONE ANOTHER

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you…”
II Thessalonians 3:1-2
Main Text: Main text: II Thessalonians 3:1

Galatians 6:2 tells us, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Praying for one another is a great channel for us as believers to stand in the gap and to bear our brother’s burdens. Creating time to remember a fellow in prayer and praying for them is the best gift you can bless someone with. Look, at this point in time what others actually need from us is our show of love through prayers; Lives are endangered on the daily basis. We as the children of God have to pray for our fellow brothers and sisters, that through us they will have peace that passes all understanding.

Paul in one of his letters to the other believers asked them to pray for his mission work, Peter while he was in prison as a fellow believer prayed for him and God sent an angel for his deliverance. You cannot tell if the prayers in your mouth will bring deliverance to somebody today. I believe if we pray for others as we pray for ourselves it will be easier for us to receive from God because He said we should love our neighbor as our self. If we pray with this consciousness in our heart, that when we pray, God answers, then it should not be difficult to intercede for others. There are issues in the life of our brethren and the prayers we make can go a long way in bringing solutions. Imagine the situation of this Nation, the prayers of the saints will always touch God

Beloved, I want you to know that praying for one another will do us much more benefits than harms. Prayer we make today will surely answer for us tomorrow.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I come to you today and thank you for the privilege of praying for others.
