A COVENANT OF LOVE

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 (TLB)

For thousands of years, God has been working to drop the revelation of His love into the hearts of men. He’s made loving promises of blessing and protection. But He’s always faced that same obstacle – humans who just couldn’t bring themselves to believe those promises were true. We can understand the idea of a God of power, we can understand a God who desires to be served, however, an Almighty God who loves us so much that He desires above all to meet our needs? That can be hard to believe.

God loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be born on earth and die on a cross. Why? We were all sinners and the scriptures show us that the consequence of sin is death and eternal separation from God. There’s nothing we could do to make us “good enough” for heaven. But God made a way. He sent Jesus to die for us and become the great substitute for us.

God cut a blood covenant with you when He sacrificed His own son to do it. Jesus’ broken body and shed blood have become the eternal proof of God’s love for you. Get a revelation of God’s love for you by meditating on the covenant He’s made with you.

Confession

I am loved by God; I experience the absolute love of God. Joy overflow is my portion; depression is far from me, I am advancing. Glory to God.
