HOMOLOGEO 1
“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.â€
Philemon 6 (KJV)
Main Text:
Words are spirit and they have authority. John 6:63 “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Homologeo is derived from two Greek words “homou” which means likeminded or of one mind and “logos” which means the word. Homologeo means to say the same thing as another, this means to agree with. It also means to concede. This simply means to agree with, confess, declare and admit what the word of God says about you. Our confessions must not be contrary to the Word of God. Proverbs 10:31 “The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the forward tongue shall be cut out.” KJV
The words we speak have creative power, it’s imperative our professions agree with what God says concerning us. Paul admonished Philemon to acknowledge every good thing in him by Christ Jesus. The day you accepted Jesus as Lord, good things were deposited into you. You have the mind of Christ, you possess the wisdom of God, you are a champion, never to be down trodden again. Proverbs 8:6 “Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.” (KJV).
There are excellent things written in the word concerning you. Jeremiah said God’s plan for you is one of great peace, with a bright future (Jeremiah 29:11), don’t allow inferiority complex rob you of God’s plan for your life. Keep declaring the words of life and the Holy Spirit will give power to your confessions for a desired outcome by His grace.
Confession; I declare God’s incredible blessing over my life, I am a success, I am a champion, I am victorious, I am the head and not the tail, glory to God I am blessed.
Prayer; My words will always receive backing of the spirit in the name of Jesus
