GIVE ROOM FOR PATIENCE

“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
James 1:4 (KJV)
Main Text: Romans 12  : 1-12

You have been walking by faith, you’ve been believing God to meet your needs, however, what do you do when the results seem slow and you are tempted to give up? BE PATIENT! There’s not much said about patience these days but when it comes to receiving from God, patience is just as important as faith.

Patience is power, it has the courage to refuse the lie of Satan that states, “the Word isn’t working for you.” It knows God’s Word has never failed. Patience will not draw back in fear but will press forward in faith until you have the answer. After you have meditated on the promises of God over your life, and have them settled in your spirit, patience will encourage you to hold steady.

When what you are believing God for seems slow, don’t give up! Continue to put the Word first with patience and you will surely receive the promise. Remember it is Christ in you that gives the hope of glory.

Confession: I declare, I am patient in spirit, I give room for patience, and thereby I lack nothing. I boldly decree, I am confident that God hears me when I pray, therefore, my needs are met, I have plenty more to put in store in Jesus name! Amen.
