THE CONCEPT OF POSITIVE CONFESSION

Precept is known as God-given mandate for man and the concept is the precept conceived in the mind of man. That is, God is limited in His workings in a man’s life except man has a concept in which God’s help will be required to bring it forth, one of the processes of bringing forth such a concept is through  positive confession.

Confession is giving expression positively or negatively to what your mind has conceived via your mouth because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Note that Romans 10:10 says with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (all benefits in Christ). So what will you be confessing in this 2018? Is it positive or negative? Remember you cannot be speaking negatively and expect a positive result. You cannot be speaking like a peasant and expect to enjoy the luxury of the palace. Jesus said “he shall have whatsoever he saith” it is certain; you will surely have whatever you say. Now hear this “if you want  a happy life and good days keep your tongue from speaking evil and keep your lips from telling lies” 1 Peter 3: 10. One thing I would like you know is that, it takes the same process to confess either positively or negatively but people generally are at ease confessing negatives to themselves and others; you must change this year.

Beloved, learn to confess what you desire to see happen in your life and it will start to happen this January because the WORD will become whatever you want it to become. John 1; 14. Let us learn to speak what we have conceived for our life from God’s Word because it will definitely happen, though it may take some time, wait patiently, for it will surely come.

Prayer: Lord I choose to speak positively to my life in Jesus name.
