HOW TO BE RICH UNTO GOD

“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
Luke 10:2
Main Text: MAIN TEXT: 2 Timothy 4:1-6

It is essential that we develop true riches, not just in material possessions but in genuine spiritual wealth toward God. One of the most significant ways to be rich unto God is by becoming a soul winner! Every believer must understand the importance of soul winning. We must realize that every soul is precious to God—whether rich or poor, known or unknown. Soul winning is the heartbeat of God, and throughout scripture, we are consistently charged to preach the gospel.

Keith Wright said it well: “Lost people matter to God, and so they must matter to us.” The greatest mistake we can make is thinking that evangelism is only for a select group of people. This kind of thinking reveals the deception that wealth or worldly distractions can create in our hearts. Jesus gave a clear command: GO! Evangelism is for everyone, and it is the most direct and impactful way to be rich toward God.

Remember this: “A soul is a soul, and it is precious to God.” You must be deeply invested in soul winning and in the will of God! As believers, we cannot afford to be selfish Christians, only thinking of ourselves. Others need to know that there is so much more in God—they need to experience redemption and the prosperity of their souls in Him.

Jesus Christ desires for us to be rich toward God, and one of the most powerful ways to achieve this is by being sold out to soul winning. Sharing the gospel and leading others to salvation is not just a command—it’s our greatest privilege and responsibility as followers of Christ.

Confession:

I realize that God desires all men to come to repentance, therefore, I am sold out to soul winning. I win the lost and bring them to Jesus, in His name. Amen!
