HIS WORD STILL A LAMP

When life seems dark, or when you aren’t sure about which choice to make, turn on the light of God’s Word so you can see clearly what to do. As you meditate on His Word and confess His promises over your life, it breaks down the walls of doubt, fear and uncertainty that would try to block you or hold you back. Everyone has seasons when they feel overwhelmed by the shadow of death. In fact, one of the tricks of the enemy is to get you so caught up in the everyday “hustle and bustle” so that he can distract you and make you feel disconnected from the Father. But no matter how overwhelmed you may feel, you can find rest in knowing that the eyes of the Lord are upon you. He sees everything you are going through and everything you are facing. He knows where you are right now, and He knows how to get you to where you need to go. What a Friend we have in Jesus!

The Word of God is the light of life. Turn the light on, and you’ll see the unseen; you’ll see the realities of the spirit realm. Suddenly, you’ll discover that everything you thought was missing wasn’t missing. You’ll realize that you actually have in abundance everything you thought you never had. Once you turn the light of God on, never turn it off again. You’re called to walk in that light: in the light of His righteousness, His redemption, His justification, His wisdom, and His prosperity; you’re to walk in the light of the new creation reality.

The Bible tells us that the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn which shines brighter and brighter. That means His truth will guide and direct your heart in the direction of peace, but how much of the word of God do you know? Get deeper in His word in this year of prevailing Word, beloved of God!

Prayer: Help me to always trust You O Lord.
