HEAR MY CRY
“Hearken to the prayer of Your servant and of Your people Israel when they pray in or toward this place. Hear in heaven, Your dwelling place, and when You hear, forgive.”
1 Kings 8:30 (AMP)
Main Text: Jeremiah 33:3
The first things doctors do when a baby is born is to make sure it is breathing. The cry of the baby is the evidence of life. For several months, that cry will be the baby’s way of communicating with its parents when afraid or in need.
Many at times, God’s children cry out to the Lord in despair for their need. King Solomon asked God to hear the supplication of the people and forgive them when they transgressed. Forgiveness is God’s specialty. He is a loving, gracious and longsuffering God that wants you to come to Him just as you are.
As believers, your faintest whisper is heard in an instant, therefore, take a moment today and turn your voice and heart towards God. Call out to Him for He will hear your cry.
Prayer: Dear Lord, we come before you humbly, and we ask that You grant all our heart desires in Jesus name. Amen.
