SEPARATION 2
“Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.â€
Proverbs 18:1(KJV)
Main Text:
Like I said yesterday, Abram was with his nephew Lot, and that caused limitation in attaining the fullness of God’s desired blessings for him. They both had great possessions such that the land wasn’t able to contain them both and their workers had issues that ultimately resorted in both men separating. When they chose to separate, Lot chose the best portion of the land according to his physical assessment while Abraham chose what seemingly looked like a disadvantage, however, Abraham had a relationship with the God of all wisdom suddenly light broke forth and what looked like a disadvantage became unparalleled blessing. Genesis 13:14:17 “And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.” (KJV)
Our Lord Jesus separated Himself many times from the public and the force of His ministry was one to be reckoned with. Jesus is our perfect role model. It is expected of us to walk in the statutes of Jesus. The disciples had to be separated for the Holy Spirit to come on them (Acts 2). One of the keys to everlasting success is separation.
Confession; I am blessed, I walk in the blessings of Abraham, I am the redeemed of the Lord therefore whatsoever I say is so; I declare I am blessed.
Prayer: I am separated from every weight of frustration in this year.
