DO YOU PLAN FOR ETERNITY?

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in Men’s hearts and minds, a divinely implanted sense of a purpose …
Ecclesiastes 3: 11 (AMP)
Main Text:

There is a particular warning my parents were fond of telling me when I was much younger of course I must have told you this before. And it’s that on no account should I permit a short time pleasure to subdue my long time enjoyment. God always connects everything He does with eternity, because He thinks in terms of eternity. He’s the eternal God, and always, He deals with things that last forever. In Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV), the Bible says, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men…." He brought eternity to men so they can see beyond this world.

Therefore beloved, what are you doing to enjoy the everlasting life God has prepared for you? The Bible says no sinner will see the face of God; so what efforts have you in place to make eternal life? I’m taught of the Lord to look beyond the present moments and connect everything I do here on earth to eternity. My choices and decisions and everything else about my life are focused on the prevailing Word which is able to keep and deliver me from the world.

No matter how long our days on earth, the ultimate is heaven. Our strive or effort today must be towards making heaven and that’s why Bible says what shall it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? Beloved, God has put in you everything you need to fulfill your eternal destiny. He is making you ready to rule and reign with Him. As long as you are moving forward and gaining strength keep eternity in mind.

You have a higher calling; you have a greater purpose. Don’t allow the little irritations to get you destabilized or distracted from what God has called you to do.

Prayer: Let there be the consciousness of eternity in every action I take
