WITH GOD ON YOUR SIDE YOU’LL FIND IT! “
But as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found …
I Samuel 9: 20
Main Text:
In II Kings 6: 1-6 the sons of the Prophets sought directive from Elisha before they carried out a duty. As they were cutting woods to build the dwelling structures, the axe they borrowed fell into the river. Elisha intervened and the axe floated. In your journey in this 2018, what you need is the company of the Spirit of God. This can only be achieved when you allow the prevailing Word of God to guide you in all of your endeavours.
Once you are led to go ahead by God, then go. Surely there may be challenges on the way that may be known or unknown to you just as the sons of the prophet’s experience. As the axe was caused to float, so will whatever you think you have lost surface again. The Lord will not send you on an assignment that will bring shame to His name in this 2018.
God will rather use such an occasion to display His awesome power instead of embarrassment for you. To the sons of the prophets; the axe was gone and could never be found. To Saul, his father’s assess were gone and could never be found (1 Sam.9:5.) so who told you that you would not find or get back what you think were lost in 2017 or beyond? When God is involved in a case, whatever was lost will be found. When the axe got lost, the sons of the prophets called upon Elisha; when Saul got tired of searching for the asses, his servant drew his attention to the presence of a Seer in the city (1 Sam. 9:6). When the prophets stepped into these situations, what was lost was found. Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper (2 Chronicles 20: 20). You’ll find what you lost before now!
Prayer: May I not wander about before I encounter destiny
