WHAT HAPPENED AT THE CROSS?
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
1 Corinthians 6:11 (KJV)
Main Text:
A vast number of believers haven’t really understood what happened at the Cross. In layman words, Jesus became the great exchange! You and I will never be able to imagine the excruciating pain His body experienced at the Cross. At that helpless moment, every malignant cancer, tumor, sickness & disease, poverty etc came upon Him at the same time. He who knew no sin became sin, He took upon Himself the heavy weight of sin of the humanity.
Matt 8:17 “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses." The key word here is Himself took, this reflects a singular act that excludes help from mankind. He Himself took the full punishment, judgement and condemnation for all sin man ever committed.
Jesus didn’t just die on the cross receiving all of humanities sins. He took it and accepted it upon His body. When all was said and done, Jesus cried out “IT IS FINISHED!” Jesus held on at the cross until every sin committed and will ever be committed was punished in His body! This is why we can boldly say what Jesus did at the cross was FINISHED WORK!
Confession: I am a partaker of the finished works of Christ, I am prosperous, whole, healthy, well, rich, blessed! I walk in the glory! I am the glory of God, Jesus perfectly perfected all that concerns me! I am blessed! Praise the Lord.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
John 19:30 (KJV) “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
