CAN YOU BRAG ABOUT YOUR GOD?
“The LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyesâ€
Psalm 118:23, NIV
Main Text:
I love David’s attitude in today’s verse. He was declaring the goodness of God and bragging on His faithfulness! We need to always remember that every blessing in our life is from Him. That promotion, breakthrough, healing or new opportunity — that was God’s doing. Scripture says that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above.
We do sing a song any time we feel His great wonders in our life, “I have seen the Lord’s goodness His mercy and compassion I have seen the Lord’s goodness halleluiah praise the Lord. O Lord you have been so good…”
It was a song that showcases an experience of the goodness of God which was being bragged on. It was a great reminder that all through the day we should be bragging on God’s goodness. We should be remembering His mighty acts. See, when we give God all the glory, that’s when He will pour out His blessings in greater measure. When we are humble and don’t try to take the credit, His grace and favor increases on us. Learn to always praise good with good voice of music every time of your life. There is no man on earth who will live to praise God and lose out on the battles of life, never!
Today, look for opportunities to brag on God, let people know and taste of His kindness in your life and when you do this, you make boast of what God has and can do. If you are breathing today, make boast of the testimony for the gift of life, make boast of Him all the time. Brag on Him for being your Protector. If you are facing a difficulty, brag on the fact that He is your Deliverer and breakthrough is on the way! Keep declaring His goodness and faithfulness and watch what God will today do on your behalf in this year of prevailing Word!
Prayer:Let me always have causes to brag on You only Lord my God.
