THE GRACE OF GOD

“Therefore it is of faith that it might be by grace…”
Romans 4:16 (KJV)
Main Text:

God is a God of faith; He desires that His children be people of faith. God is pleased when we develop our faith to receive His unlimited promises. Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” God is so eager to see His children blessed that He provided a way for us to succeed even when we occasionally fall short.

Grace is the ingredient that allows us to succeed even when we fall short. Rom 5:1-2Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (ESV) faith is something all believers have received from God and His Word (Eph 2:8 & Rom 10:17) faith and grace operate together.

Grace is unmerited favor, it’s not something you earn by works. To enjoy grace is to enjoy favor. We are privileged sons and daughters of God! And as children of God, we need favor because favor gives us access to the things we desire. The grace of God is multiplied to us through our knowledge of God and His Word. (2 Peter 1:2)

Confession

I am favored by God and men, I enjoy the grace of God, therefore, I fully expect my days to be filled with prosperity and my years with pleasures.
