GO YE INTO THE WORLD
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Main Text: Main text: Mark 16:15-16
The final commandment Jesus Christ gave us was to go into the world and share the gospel. When He said "Go into the world," it was a general call to preach and teach in the places where we live. Jesus expects us to spread His message, letting the world know about Him, as He came to Earth and died to grant humanity eternal life. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The command to go into the world and preach the gospel underscores the urgency and importance of spreading the message of Christ. It is through the gospel that people find hope, healing, and transformation. As followers of Jesus, we are entrusted with the responsibility of making Him known to those who have not yet encountered His love and grace.
Our everyday interactions provide opportunities to share the gospel in simple yet profound ways. Whether through words, actions, or acts of kindness, we can reflect the love of Christ and lead others to Him. This commission is not reserved for pastors or missionaries alone; it is for every believer, regardless of age, background, or location.
Confession:
Father, I desire to win souls for the kingdom and to share Jesus to my world, I am emboldened to share the gospel without fear, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
