THE ARMOUR OF GOD

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm
Ephesians 6: 13 NLT
Main Text:

I woke up with a thought on my mind one morning. And I asked myself, despite the global threats, what on earth could inform North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un to be so adamant in his nuclear threat? The man recently praised nuclear weapons as a "powerful deterrent" which guaranteed his country's security. But President Trump has previously warned that the US could destroy North Korea if necessary to protect America's national interests and defend its allies in the region. Then I answered myself, he must have really fortified himself.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

Ephesians 6:12. Man in himself isn’t as wicked as I think, for God made man in His image and in His likeness. He made man to look like Him, and to function like Him (Genesis 1:26); but there’s something that remotely controls the unregenerate man and causes him to think, talk, and act wickedly Ephesians 2:2.

Beloved, we are face with all sorts of troubles in life and of course the Bible says in the world we will see tribulations therefore we need to fortify ourselves ahead. But here’s the key, we must have more of God’s word. As long as you’re fully armed with the full armour of God, you’ll be able to resist the onslaught of the evil one. Satan and his demons are no threat for the Christian. You have the dominion and authority over principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. God has given you the spiritual weapons with which to keep them at bay. Keep studying the Word of God.

Prayer:  I am an overcomer by the blood of Jesus Christ.
