THE DEVIL’S DEMISE

“[But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].”
1 John 3:8 (AMP)
Main Text: John 10:5-10

Since the beginning of time, mas has had one enemy of his soul – the devil. He deceived Eve, killed Abel, separated Cain from God and His family. He’s a family wrecker. His desire is to sow discord, bring deception and ultimate destruction to homes. He is described as a thief – robbing people of their joy through alcohol, drugs, adultery and divorce. He came to steal, kill and destroy! (John 10:10)

The good news is God sent Jesus into the world to destroy the works of the devil. There’s no force on earth like Jesus. He can push back everything the devil throws our way. Jesus appeared to destroy the works of the devil. The devil is a defeated foe, stand upon the victory Jesus gave you and watch yourself triumph!

God wants to manifest Himself in your life, in your kids, in your marriage, in your job, in your church, in your future. You are triumphant in Christ! As a born again child of God, you are in authority, so let the devil know that victory is yours!

Confession: Thank You Lord that the devil is a powerless, defeated foe! In Christ Jesus, I am victorious! I am not moved by overwhelming feelings or past failures because God is bigger and more powerful than anything I’ve ever been through. I am blessed mightily.

Revelation 20:10 (AMP) “Then the devil who had led them astray [deceiving and seducing them] was hurled into the fiery lake of burning brimstone, where the beast and false prophet were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (through the ages of the ages).”
