THE POWER OF CONFESSION 2

"And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners with those called to heaven, think carefully about this Jesus whom we declare to be God's messenger and High Priest."
Hebrews 3:1, NLT
Main Text:

There is something I need you to know about salvation and that is, confession of your sins does not translate to being rather, rather, confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life. Nowhere in Scriptures is it stated that if you confess all your sins, you’ll be saved, no! Incidentally, you cannot even remember all the sins you ever committed, and confessing them all will not be possible! What you need is a new creation and that’s what you become upon confessing with your mouth, the Lordship of Jesus, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Your confession proves the fidelity of God's word. Don't make a mockery out of it... Don't have dual confessions. Meaning one moment you confess God's word, the next you confess against it. Luke 8:11 sow seeds of God's word into your life! Tell yourself everyday "I am not bound by limitations because I am united with the Limitless One" I am prosperous because the Lord is my shepherd. The Great Confession means so much to the child of God—the Father in heaven revealed it, the Son of God built His church upon it, and the gates of Hades would not prevail against it! May God be praised as we boldly declare His Lordship in this land!

We possess what we confess. We never rise above our confession. Basically Confession is affirming God's word. To acknowledge a fact is to confess that fact, to affirm it and give testimony to it... Confession is agreeing with God’s ability.

Prayer: Father, I speak life into my being that I live victoriously today in His name
