THEN ASK

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Matthew 7:7
Main Text:

One of the best avenues every believer can employ to get their request from God was tabled in the reference text above. This is likened to the present day open cheque. By open cheque it means, you have the freedom to write any amount you want to withdraw from somebody’s bank account; if you write ten thousand, it’s your business and if you write ten million no one asks you questions all because the cheque is an open one.

In Luke 12:1 Jesus tells us to ask anything in His name and it will be done. Wow! How many of us take advantage of this opportunity? Some people still go to the spiritualists to seek miracles over the issue they can as well deal with. Imagine a person telling his sibling he will bury him in their late father’s land which he had willed to them before his death! The situation can force simple minded believer to start running around for protection. However, if this man decides to go to Jesus, no threats will be able to move him and of course his older brother’s diabolical power cannot overwhelm him. When you take a case to judges, they can be bribed but Jesus is the Defender of the defenseless. The privilege we enjoy as believers is nothing compared to the world. The Bible says, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. What does that mean to you? It means everything to a true believer. If God can give His only son that means He will stop at nothing to ensure our good state in life.

Beloved, don’t be deceived by words of men that one powerful spiritualist is making waves somewhere and you too will start looking for means to see him/her! Are you a child of God indeed? Whatever your stand, God has made everything available to bless you in this life. Just live to fulfill His kingdom mandate ONLY!

Prayer: I will not be deceived out of God’s open heaven on me
