HOPE IN THE LORD

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
Romans 5:5.
Main Text:

Each time you connect to God in prayers, you must do it believing that He’s able to do all that you have requested. Taking a good lesson from Hannah in 1st Samuel, her countenance was no longer sad immediately after the prayer session. She believed that God will perfect all that He has spoken and she started rejoicing. Another clear evidence that you are genuinely filled with the Holy Spirit is joy. Each time you rejoice, you are simply telling God you have faith that very soon, your situation will be turned around for good and because God operates in an atmosphere of joy, He will surely deliver your portion of blessings in the miraculous. You don’t need to be downcast or sorrowful. Your lot in Christ is more than that and God is not silent over your case. Though you often don’t know just how, but God is working. Therefore, your faith should be strong and working while you complement the process by rejoicing in hope. You must have read the account of Habakkuk and this is what He said even in the face of his tough and unbearable circumstance: “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:17-18.

You need to look through the scripture and see how God delivered His people from their situations because they continually put their trust in Him. Putting your trust in man is like waiting for days of disappointment without knowing. Man will always be unstable, unpredictable and unreliable but God is unchangeable.

Prayer: I will continually rejoice in your power with a strong faith that you will never fail me.
