WE ARE FOR ONE ANOTHER
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.â€
Hebrews 10:25
Main Text:
Love feast came into being basically to promote love and unity and facilitates oneness among believers. With love the whole essence of creation is fulfilled because, it was for the reason of Love that God gave His love. God so loved the world and He gave Jesus as ransom for the sins of all. If we truly share that God’s kind of love, there will be tremendous achievements. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1).
Let’s start encouraging ourselves in love, assisting ourselves, communicating in love and showing concern to one another and by this fulfilling the scriptures. “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35.
Look around you and consider the last time you truly showed love to someone in serious need. The Lord lives in love and we must do the same to get His attention over all pending issues of our lives and body of Christ.
I am shocked at the backsliding rate of the Church today and it must be a joint effort of all saints to put an instant stop to this. How? By show of love to the victim. The Bible says, “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1).
Temptations abound everywhere and we must make conscious effort to silence the roaring of these end time wolves and devourers of giants in faith. That is why you can’t afford to choose any friend who is not born again. If there’s anything separating you from true fellowship, please check them out and make amends.
Prayer: O Lord, please keep me in your love and never allow my heart to stray away from the truth.
