WHO IS JESUS? (1)

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21 (KJV)
Main Text:

There are many famous people in the world. However, you might know the name of a famous person but that doesn’t mean you know him well. You may have heard about Jesus. Though he lived on the earth over 2000 years ago, most people don’t know what he was like as a person. It is important for you to know the truth about Jesus Christ, for therein lies your key to a victorious life.

John 1:14 (AMP) “And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.” Jesus was tempted in every way just as we are. As such, he can sympathize with our weakness as humans (Hebs 4:15).

Jesus is the key to membership in God’s family. When He stooped to our level by becoming a man, He made it possible for us to relate to Him and for God to relate to us through Him. Jesus existed from the beginning, He was with God, He was God. He made it possible for us to have forgiveness from sin and a renewed relationship with God.

Prayer: Lord, let us know you and the fellowship of your sufferings (Philippians 3:10)
