THROWN INTO FIRE
“And already the axe [of God’s judgment] is swinging toward the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”
Matthew 3:10 (AMP)
Main Text: Main text: Malachi 3:2
As a believer, it is important to understand that if you do not bear fruit, you risk being cut off and thrown into the fire. A believer who is not dedicated to evangelism is unproductive in God's kingdom. We must be committed to sharing the gospel; after all, you were saved not because you were born into a Christian home, but because someone preached to you. We must be devoted to the things of God. Jesus cursed the fig tree because it wasn’t bearing fruit. Similarly, when we do not bear fruit, we are like the barren fig tree.
Rom 10:14-15 “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
Are you a believer? Are you dedicated to evangelism? Are you bearing fruit for the Kingdom? Do you want to be thrown into the fire? These are crucial questions we must ask ourselves. As believers, it is essential to be active in sharing our faith and producing spiritual fruit. Remember, Jesus said, "Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away" (John 15:2). Let us commit ourselves to evangelism and the work of God, ensuring we remain fruitful and faithful.
Be committed to God, and you will never regret it! God is a good God, and He won’t leave you stranded. All you need to do is meet God's needs, and soul winning is one of His paramount needs on earth. When you dedicate yourself to sharing the gospel and bringing souls to Christ, you align yourself with God's heart and purpose, and He will always be with you, guiding and providing for you every step of the way.
Confession:
I declare that I am committed to bearing good fruit in my life, reflecting the character and love of Christ. I acknowledge the seriousness of Your judgment and strive to live a life that is pleasing to You. I remain rooted in Jesus, drawing strength and nourishment from Him. I seek daily transformation through Your Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, allowing Your love, joy, peace, and all the fruits of the Spirit to be evident in my life. I desire to be a living testimony of Your grace, bringing glory to Your Name.
