GOD LOVES THE WORLD
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 3:16-18
Main Text: John 15:13
God's love surpasses any form of human love we've ever known. It's a sacrificial love that goes beyond mere emotion—it's a love that gives the best, even giving up His own life for the greater good. This love is not self-centered or conditional. When humanity betrayed God by committing the greatest sin, God didn't turn His back on us. Instead, He sent His Son to die for the world, taking upon Himself our sin, iniquity, poverty, and sickness. John 3:16 perfectly captures this divine love: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This is the epitome of God's unconditional and selfless love for us.
Jesus Christ is indeed God's greatest gift to the world, given not just for a particular group or nation, but for everyone. He is not a local champion; He is the Savior of the entire world. Jesus came to save us from sin, poverty, hell, and the grave, offering us eternal life and reconciliation with God. This is the most precious gift that God has given to humanity, and it's our responsibility to share this good news with others. We must make it our mission to let our neighbors, friends, and everyone we encounter know about this incredible gift of Jesus Christ.
We have a divine mandate to proclaim that Jesus Christ is all that matters. In a world full of distractions and competing priorities, it's crucial to remind people that nothing compares to the eternal value of knowing and choosing Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is through Him that we find true purpose and fulfillment. Let's commit ourselves to sharing this truth, encouraging others to choose Jesus above all else, and helping them understand that in Him, they find everything they truly need.
Confession:
Jesus Christ, my Savior, has redeemed me by His precious blood. He has rescued me from the power of sin, poverty, sickness, hell, and the grave. I am no longer bound by the chains of the past, for He has set me free. I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. His sacrifice on the cross has secured my eternal salvation, and I walk in the newness of life that He has given me.
