NOT YET TIME TO RELAX
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
1 Timothy 4:16 KJV
Main Text:
If you look into the field, you will discover that the harvest is really ripe. The mission is still far from completion therefore, relaxation is not permitted at any level. The only Christian who are exempted from work were those who had gone to be with the Lord because their season was settled. I’m not saying you shouldn’t rest from your daily labour but note that the battles that will lead to your total crowning can’t be over until you see Jesus in glory. The devil has devised different schemes to push you into relaxation in order to carry out his destructive agenda. He may prompt you not to pray as usual again or attend church meetings because of your little testimony. He can also tempt you to suddenly become proud so that you don’t see God as the giver of all things but now you begin to consider your human efforts, connections and certificate. It’s in the midst of this self praises that many have lost their crown of glory unconsciously. May the enemies not succeed over your faith in Jesus mighty name.
Until the Lord have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you. Deuteronomy 3:20 KJV
The battle isn’t over beloved. You must continue daily in your quest to be rapturable on the last day. Your ultimate goal should be to make heaven and not left behind on earth. The journey will end gloriously at the feet of Christ for those who will endure till the end. I pray you will never miss your final rest in Jesus mighty name.
Prayer: I am delivered from every scheme of the devil that is targeted at destroying my faith and concentration on spiritual growth.
