THE FORCE OF PRAYER

“And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.”
Luke 9:29
Main Text: Main Text: Luke 18:1

There’s something known as the force of prayer, this is what makes tremendous power available, it’s a prayer from the point of righteousness! James 5:16 “The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]”. In Physics, Force is that which change or tend to change a body from its state of rest. In this context, I like to see force as that which propel or compare an action. That is, a drive to something.

The room of prayer is the engine room of a church or any institution or person. If you want to grow and develop a relationship with the Spirit one of the ways to go about it is by praying, not praying give me, give me sort of prayer, but one that genuinely wants to seek God and be lost in His presence. The force of prayer is the key to power!

The spirit of grace and supplication is the spirit of prayer, and the spirit of prayer is the force of prayer. The force of prayer is that force that drives us to our closet to pray, sometimes filled with the burdens of intercessions. It was in the place of prayer that the fashion of his countenance was altered, you want something about you to change, get on your knees and seek the Lord!

Prayer:

Father in the name of Jesus, I am desperate for you, I desire to get wasted for you, help me develop the tenacity to pray by the spirit of discipline.
