ARE YOU STILL IN FAITH?

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Luke 9:62
Main Text:

A backslider is one who moves away from Christ rather that moving towards Him, after salvation by grace through faith. Backsliding is dangerous for every believer in Christ because it makes them disconnected from the kingdom of God. There is no point in getting saved if one will not make heaven at last. In our walk with God, we must always remember Lot's wife, who was saved but later backslid by looking back with the desire to return to Sodom. Any life that is no longer interested in the things of God need to be urgently checked and guided. Whatever you think you are missing in your past life can only take you back into sinful world.

If we are not moving forward in Christ, then we are naturally going backward. In the Christian life, there is no standing still. We are either progressing or regressing. You show me a person who is failing to move forward spiritually, and by that I mean a person who is growing as a follower of Jesus, who is deepening in his or her prayer life and study of Scripture and likeness to Jesus, and I will show you a person who has begun the process of backsliding.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19 > beloved, get back into the word of life, and let God blot out your sins. It's that simple. Just pray and ask God to forgive you and clean you up. It is also extremely important that you continue to pray after God has forgiven you, and cleanses you so that you can stay in good standings with Him. Because Jesus said, "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:41

Prayer: The soul that sins shall die I will not go against your will O Lord.
