QUIET TIME 2

“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.”
Luke 5:16 (KJV)
Main Text:

Quiet time is a term used to describe regular individual sessions of Christian spiritual activities. The quiet time is also a time of drawing encouragement, direction and strength from God and His Word. The more you spend the Word, the more insight and revelation you receive about Him.

A natural relationship develops between any two people spending quality time together. At such times, transference of spirits and mannerisms of any kind can occur. Ezek 2:1-2 “And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.” When you spend quality time with God, a blessing awaits you.

Many Christians do not understand the importance of spending time with God, that it has the power to completely change their lives. A quiet time helps us to maintain our connection to Jesus by establishing a regular rhythm in our own life. We not only have a weekly cadence of corporate worship, but a daily one with Jesus.

Confession: I walk in the love of Jesus, therefore, I choose to spend time with him daily, I enjoy every moment with Him, and I walk in the light as He is in the light in Jesus name! Amen.
