JESUS THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF THE FATHER

“who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” ??
Hebrews 1:3(KJV
Main Text: Matthew 17:5

Though Jesus was born of a woman in the form of human flesh. He was also the express image of God. Jesus was the brightness of God’s glory. The word “glory” here is translated from the Greek word “Doxa” which means “all that God has and is.” Jesus was the reflection of God’s glory— all that He has and is. The glory of God shone forth and was manifested both in Jesus’ character and the things He did. Three of Jesus’ disciples were privileged to see an actual outward, physical manifestation of God’s glory shining and radiating from Jesus’ body. What an awesome sight to behold! Right before their eyes, Jesus was transfigured— His outward appearance changed before them.  Jesus lived His life on earth as a man, however, at transfiguration His outward expression was changed He was the exact image — the visible representation and manifestation of God to men. To see Jesus is to see God! Hallelujah!!!

Confession

Blessed be God! Christ who is the effulgence of God’s glory and the expression of the Father lives in me. Therefore, I’m the expression of the supernatural abilities, power, victories and glories of Christ, because as He is, so am I in this world! I am full of God and I function by the power and glory of God.
