LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

“Call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honour and glorify Me”
Psalm 50:15
Main Text:

John 14:1 says, ‘‘Let not your heart be troubled".  A belief in God and in our Lord Jesus Christ can be comforting in a troubled world.  In this same chapter of John 14, Jesus said, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you forever…  I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."  (John 14:16-18)

When we trust in the Lord in our troublesome moment, He gives us a Comforter, the Holy Spirit.  He lives in our hearts and guides us in our daily walk. No matter what challenges you may be facing e—at work, home, in your health or in your relationships, God promises that even in the middle of “all these things”, you can be comforted. How? Healing of the heart and mind is the sound mind. Victory starts with peace of God that passes all understanding. That means that you can have peace when it doesn’t make sense to have peace. When the people around is in anxiety and worry, you can be in peace. Victory “amid all these things” also means that you can have joy deep down your soul. You can have so much joy that you can’t even explain why you have it! It’s supernatural. It’s joy unlimited full of His glory and power.

You don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to give Him praise. You can give Him honour and glory right now. You can thank Him for all He’s done so far in your life, and what He will do in this 2019. Call on Him today and focus on having an attitude of faith and expectancy. Speak His Word and declare His promises over your life, knowing that He promises to deliver you. Trust in Him because He will sure establish His Kingdom in your life in this 2019!

Prayer: O Lord deliver me today from every threat of the enemy
