THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, And he addeth no sorrow with it.”
Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)
Main Text: Genesis 12:1-3

One of the Greek words from which the English word “blessing” emanates from is “Eulogo” it is made up of two Greek words namely “EU” meaning good or well and “Logos” meaning word. It means to bless or speak well of. The Greek word “EULOGIA” refers to one upon whom God has acted or who has experienced His blessing. It’s also interesting to note the Greek word “EULOGESO” which means, I have done this for you and I will do it for the nations as well through you. God wants you to be a blessing to the nations of the world.

God will always be the God of blessings and born again believers are always going to be recipients to that blessing. His blessings never come to an end. Instead of seeking our condemnation God gave us His only Son Jesus to ensure the fulfillment of His original blessing to humanity.

Traditionally, most Christians consider the things they possess as blessings. However, thank God for the revelation of His Word, we discover those are things not blessing. The Lord’s blessing is the nature of His power, ability and anointing to bring about prosperity and success. In clearer terms, the blessing is God’s empowerment to prosper

Confession

I boldly declare that I prosper. I am not defeated, but I am prospering and victorious. I am prospering in my mind, in my body, in my spirit, and in my finances.
