IDENTIFY YOUR GROUND
“Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been plantedâ€
Matthew 13:8
Main Text:
There are many kinds of seeds we can sow, but do you know what produces the best result? It is the seed of God's Word planted on the soil of our hearts. The greatest favour you can do yourself at this period is to give more time to the study of the Word of God more than you ever do. The truth is, what you know is what you can deploy or identify. If your reservoir is empty and expecting to get water from it, you can only deceive yourself. Get used to the Word of life. Our job, is to make sure we have good ground for His Word.
However, if it’s possible to open the heart of man and probably have a look at what are inside, you will discover some people don’t deserve to live. For some of us, we are so weak that every form of wrong seeds are sown in our heart through words of lies but there is nothing to counter them. As you hold this Menu, what is the state of your mind? If Jesus should come now, what will be your fate? The answer is left for you.
Matthew tells us that the one who produces a good crop from his life is the one who hears the word and understands it (Matthew 13:23). For sadly, it is totally possible for someone to hear and understand the word and do absolutely nothing about it! God wants you to take action for every word of God you read or listen to.
God promises in the book of Ezekiel that He will take out the stony, hard heart, and He will replace it with a new heart, a heart that is open to Him. The seed of the Word will take root and grow, in your life this 2019 in the name of Jesus!
Prayer: Let my heart be a good ground for Your Word.
