INVEST YOUR TIME WISELY
“And he said unto them, how is it that ye sought me? Wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? â€
Luke 2:49
Main Text:
Beloved, you have heard people say that time is life and they also went further to advise you to spend your time well. That’s a simple advice for a wise heart. You can’t heed such warnings and not emerge a winner in the race of life. You must be daily guided. Anything taking your time is taking your life. Every time wasted equals life wasted and it’s only you that can explain if you are currently wasting your life or investing your time. Life is short and I wonder why so many people aren’t busy doing what will make them fulfil the divine destiny that God has mapped out for them. Your life will make no meaning to you and the world at large until you carefully substitute your wrong usage of time with something lucrative and gloriously profiting.
Another thing you need to avoid is agents of wastage. I call them wasters of destiny. Some of these agents are things and activities of life that have secretly and unconsciously taken you off the divine track and assignments. Little time wasting assets like your mobile phones, TV and gadgets that may never allow you to pray or seek God not even for ten minutes.
It’s so bad these days that when you wake from bed, the first message you may likely read on your phone is a rubbish broadcast with words ready to disturb your heart and thoughts from prayers and the study of the word. I know you have not noticed but the truth remains that you hardly read the Bible you even downloaded on your phone while other social media activities have taken the place of your hours of prayer, study of the word and spiritual concentration. Watch it my beloved!
Prayer: Father, keep me committed to purpose and lead me to do all that is required Further reading: Luke 2: 43-50
