RULE BY THE WORD 1
I have said ye are gods and all of you are the children of the Most High
Psalm 52: 6
Main Text:
I welcome you to this New Year, 2018, the year of Prevailing Word. Happy New Year once again in Jesus name. Our environment whether we believe it or not has some level of influence on our life. The environment to some extent has contributed largely to the success and failure of many in life. The reason is, some could not positively influence their environment and consequently take whatever it throws back at them. I’d like to say that we might find ourselves in an environment that totally disagrees with our divine nature; it does not change the fact that we are gods and the children of the most High. In this year of prevailing word God will condition every nature to favour you by the power of His Word.
Let me remind you of a story I once shared many years ago. A hunter went out to his farm at a time and found the egg of an eagle. He took the egg home to his poultry. It was hatched by one of his hens. The eagle began to grow along with the other chicks and was behaving like the chicken. After a while, the other chicks noticed that the eaglet would always look up while they picked their food from the ground.
The eaglet asked the other birds what kind of birds are those in the sky. They are eagles the chicks replied, “Can we fly like them?” The eaglet asked, ‘no’, replied the chicks. The young eagle sighed and continued picking from the ground like a chicken. It eventually died, having never discovered that it was not a chick and was never designed to live like the chicks but the environment in which the eaglet found itself placed a limit on its God-given ability.
Beloved, 2018 is here, don’t allow your environment to dictate your destiny wake up and begin to walk in the light of the wisdom in the prevailing Word of God for your life.
Prayer: I release myself from my environmental barrier in the name of Jesus
