THE POWER IN WORDS 2

God spoke the world into being just as we saw in the reference text above. Beloved, today, we are God’s image, the Bible tells us that we were created in God’s image. So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God He created them… Genesis 1: 27
The major part of being created in His image was the ability to speak WORDS. It is only human being that can communicate with words and articulate distinctively of all the creations of God. Words do more than conveying information, the words that we speak are powerful and can actually destroy one’s spirit, or stir up violence, and can proffer a solution to an already bad situation. Words, I tell you are powerful. Words do not only make wounds to heal, but can open up healed wounds. Great nations of the world have gone down in history as a result of wrong words by leaders who are supposed to know better. Beloved of God, the power of word is a unique powerful gift the Lord has given us to build our lives and make our circumstances better than what it was. How well are you deploying this powerful gift of God in your life? As a child of God, the Bible says your word is seasoned with grace. The words in your mouth must bless souls, it must lead to repentance of soul of a sinner. Stop wasting the gift of God on unprofitable venture.
In the book of Proverbs 12:6 AMPC The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them and the innocent ones [thus endangered]. Words have the power to kill and it has the power to deliver. Prov 18:21]. The truth is, we can use words to build people, we can use words to address a terrible situation, we can use words to end an impending war, we can use words to make life worth living. Choose to use the right words today!
Confession; I am a Child of God, therefore I speak life into my situation. My words will not fail nor fall into empty ground
