ASHAMED OF JESUS?

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed…
Mark 8:38 KJV
Main Text:

Your attitude and response to everything about God will count for you whether on the positive or the negative note. God is mindful of your decision to follow Him and He values your dedication to His course on earth. The best you can offer is your life on the altar of worship and intense praise unto God. You must be ready to take your cross and follow Jesus even to the end. Anything contrary to neglecting the world in order to obey Jesus will give you no room in His heavenly kingdom. Beloved, this is not the time to be ashamed of your Saviour. By the blood of Jesus today, we are no longer ashamed of our calling in Christ.

Jesus despised the horrible shame of the cross as He approached death to bring you life. He was never ashamed to be beaten and molested by sinners. He was mindful of you. He took your place in death and brought you life eternal by the power of the Most High God.

Are you now ashamed to declare your love for Him? Isn’t it becoming a burden for you to share His love with others around you? I hope your heart is not after other lesser gods all in the name of fame, riches and affluence? There’s no better life outside Jesus. Your decision to identify with Him here on earth will determine if He will recognize you before God and His Holy angels. Take up your cross beloved, your stay on earth will never be eternal, live a life that will glorify God and shame the devil with all his flashy but fainting goodies. Go for more of God and let Jesus shine to the whole world through you. May you never regret coming to this world in Jesus’ mighty name. Happy Easter Monday!

Prayer: Glory to God, the blood speaks on my behalf, therefore, I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Lord Jesus. I will proclaim you name forever
