THE FAITHFUL GOD
“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.â€
Lamentations 3:22
Main Text:
We can boldly say that God is good and does only good things. He will never lie nor change His mind concerning all that He has spoken about you and your family. He stands by His words and watches over them to fulfilment. “They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:23). You can be very sure that today will be far better than yesterday, so also, your tomorrow will greatly outweigh today in glory. The simple reason is this, God renews His faithfulness over you from day to day. His love for you has no bound nor limits. He’s forever your father and you are His son or daughter. Whatever you may be going through now, I want you to always remember that you have a loving father who will never cease to look upon your life with mercy and goodness.
Hear what He’s saying concerning you: “But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.” (Psalm 89:24). You are therefore reassured of better days ahead. The glory of your latter house shall surpass the former because your God has committed Himself to blessing you. You can be sure that you will not fail in your work, you will pass that examination and you will never be barren nor fruitless in anything that you do. The simple reason is this, your God is a not a man. He will show His mercy where things appear to be rough and unpleasant. He will defend you and send helpers to support your doings.
Are you seeking His mercy and faithfulness? These are readily available provided you belong to the Kingdom. “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to stay faithful to You
