SPIRITUAL EXERCISES

“Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.”
John 6:27
Main Text:

How does it feel to blame God for the disappointments we encounter in life? Is it ok to trace my failed efforts to God? If you fail in your path to greatness, please don’t blame God. God is in heaven and He does whatsoever pleases Him. One of those things that pleases God is your prosperity and eternal peace. He has made provisions for all and expects you to exercise your faith in order to enjoy His provisions. The Bible says: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” Ephesians 1:3.

It’s your responsibility to labour profitably to actualise the promise of God for your life. Success will never come by merely wishing. You must engage your spiritual and physical strength to get the best that God has provided for your destiny.

“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8.

You need to consider the profitability of your engagements here on earth. Anything taking your time without eternal value is set to destroy you. Be it human, material, physical or spiritual exercise, if God is ignored, you are completely finished. You can’t make eternity outside Jesus. All your struggles will end here on earth. The other place for struggle and pains is hell fire and I know you are not destined for that place. Though you can choose. Why waste your energy then on these things that will only make your head swell temporarily while your challenges remain the same? It’s time you talk to yourself without further delay. Get a relationship with God and make provisions for your spiritual growth.

Prayer: Father, separate me from every entanglement with no eternal value.
