TAKE TIME TO LISTEN

When you are faced with a problem, the very first thing you should ask God for is wisdom. Not money, not power, not even healing but wisdom! God’s wisdom is the key that will unlock every door in your life. It will turn your every failure into success. Therefore, stop wasting your prayer power begging God for things you think you need and spend some time instead listening to what He has to say about your situation.

One of the great benefits of our salvation has to be that of hearing God speak to us personally. It’s never the Lord who is not speaking, it’s us who are not hearing. One of the things we need to do is fix our receivers – believe that God is already speaking and start listening. It’s in stillness not busyness that we tune our spiritual ears to hear the voice of God.

As you pray today, set aside your own ideas and start seeking the wisdom of God. It’s the only thing that can permanently solve the problem you’ve been faced with. It’s truly the most precious gift God has to give.

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for wisdom in every area of my life – wisdom in my finances, wisdom in investment, wisdom in my relationship with others, wisdom in facing challenges, I receive the wisdom of God. Amen!
