YOU CANNOT SHARE HIS GLORY

I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Isaiah 42:8 KJV
Main Text:

God desires and deserves to be praised and glorified. He’s the Lord who is in charge of your life from formation till eternity. Without Him you would have been nothing but a piece of clay but He breathed into you the breath of life and you have been permitted to live spirit, soul and body. If you can look inwards, you will testify that the Lord is good. Worshipping God is one act that connects you with the glory. But sometimes when you do well in your singing, people begin to praise you above measure, kindly note you must return the glory to God IMMEDIATELY. When you worship Him through singing, your spirit makes contact with His realm, and you connect with His glory in your heart. The moment this happens, the power of the Highest will overshadow you, and miracles will follow. I know you love to ask questions especially about things you have not received but consider how many blessings you have received without asking. Those are the benefits of His grace that were introduced into your life expressly by the Lord. You didn’t become anything through your power and knowledge. In fact, you are nothing without God. You are a function of divine mercy and grace. Therefore drop pride and stop taking the glory that is due to the most High. In our text this day, King Herod was not spared because he took the glory that belong to God. He missed it totally. You must learn to be grateful and return all the glory to God through sincere act of thanksgiving. This is the counsel of the Lord for you and a gateway to many more miracles. You are still living because the Lord truly cares. All you have and all you will become are His direct permissions. Don’t take the glory. Return it to the Lord in gratitude. Prayer: Lord Jesus, to you be glory forever in all I do Further Reading: Acts 12:22-23 Read through the Bible: Nehemiah 13 & Luke 19
