WHAT IS PROSPERITY

“And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.”
Deut 28:11
Main Text: Main text: Isaiah 65:21-24

Prosperity is God’s will for mankind, but it’s important to understand what true prosperity means from a biblical perspective. Many people have adopted the narrative that prosperity is ungodly or that it only pertains to wealth acquired through hard work. This is a misconception rooted in ignorance. As believers, we must train ourselves to think in line with the scriptures and understand God’s perfect will for us. 3rd John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” This verse shows that prosperity is not just about material wealth; it encompasses our spiritual, physical, and financial well-being. God desires that we prosper in every area of our lives—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Prosperity is not a random occurrence; it's not merely the result of favorable circumstances or a strong economy. According to God's Word, prosperity is a choice—a personal decision that involves a spiritual process. God’s desire is to bless you abundantly, not just financially but in every aspect of your life. Scripture affirms this by saying that He will make you abundant in goods and bless the land you walk on.

The world often defines prosperity in a narrow sense, focusing primarily on financial wealth and power. However, you can possess all the money in the world and still be impoverished in spirit, mind, and body. True prosperity goes beyond material wealth—it’s about excelling and reaching the highest place in all areas of life that you desire to grow in.

Confession:

The Lord has blessed me abundantly, and His favor surrounds me like a shield. I am empowered to prosper in every area of my life, and I walk in the fullness of His blessings daily. According to God's Word, wealth and riches are in my house. I am a faithful steward of the resources God has entrusted to me, and I manage them wisely for His glory. My storehouses are full, and I have more than enough to meet every need and be a blessing to others.
